To mark one year of shooting at St Philip's Catholic Church Ofufe Amakwa Ozubulu which took the lives of 13 worshippers including Chief Cyprain Otuadimma Ikegwuonu Ichie Akunwafor who is the father of the founder of Ebubechukwuzo Foundation Ozubulu, High Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu (Bishop Ozubulu) was so very emotional.

Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice dies

Rivers State suffers a monumental loss as legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma dies, today Friday 10th August, 2018 in a hospital in London.

In a special press release by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Emma Okah; the Government of Rivers State regretted the loss of a Legend and a true Rivers son, who, until his death, was the commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the State.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON instructed that flags be flied at half-mast for 48 hours, beginning from Saturday, 11th August, 2018.

Tired Death-row inmate begs for his execution

A Nevada death-row inmate whose execution has been postponed twice says the legal fight over his fate is taking a tortuous toll on him and his family and he wants his sentence carried out.

Scott Raymond Dozier told The Associated Press that the state should, in his words, “just get it done, just do it effectively and stop fighting about it.”

Dozier’s comments in a brief prison telephone call on Wednesday came a day before a third drug company is due to ask a state court judge in Las Vegas to let it join with two other firms suing to block the use of their products in executions.

The companies say they publicly declared they didn’t want their products used in executions and allege that Nevada improperly obtained their drugs. But now, Scott himself wants the execution carried out.
