There is usually something you are almost perfect in (of course, there is room for error; the tiniest little bit), but there must be something.
The thing is, sometimes we don't want to find out what that thing is. We rather, are interested in being good (average though) in virtually everything.
"Jack of all trade" may be cute in situations where "one-eyed man is king in the land of the blind", but with no visual impairment, you may never be a choice (not even the last one).
What I mean is this, it's great to have a general knowledge of almost everything, but when push comes to shove, no one would pick you over a professional.
Peradventure you're picked, your integrity would be at stake.
Never admit you're great in what you're fair.
Don't brag about what you're not certain.
Stick to your strengths, capitalize on every opportunity to flex your muscle.
Jack of all trade and master of none won't take you far.
