Check out this conversation between two lovers...
Girl: Baby, I would like you to share your every thought with me. I want to know your every move, what you do, exactly how your day goes; every detail. I want to know your friends, both sexes. I want you to trust me with your deepest thoughts, your past, your dreams and aspirations. I want to be your best friend.
Boy: I don't see why not. I love you and I trust you. I would share everything and every information with you. I'm gonna be transparent with you.
Few weeks later .....
Girl: This your female friend you told me about... Hmm..... I hope I'm safe oh...
Boy: Babe, why would you say that? You sound insecure.
Girl: I know you told me previously that you did some shit with one of your friends back in the day... I hope it's not a case of "lightning striking same spot twice".
Boy: I trusted you with my past, and you're gonna use it against me? That's unfair
Girl: I've said my own oh... This one you're always smiling when you see her. It's OK. Let me not catch you. Men are polygamous in nature.
Boy *thinking*: Should I have told her anything in the first place?
Questions:
Should we really trust our partners with every detail?
Would our relationships be better for it?
Would trust be ensured or broken?

I am never transparent.it is not worth it and your friend today can be your enemy tomorrow and can use what you tell them against you. It's my past and my secret so I keep it that way.
