Nadal stops match as distraught mother looks for her little girl lost in the crowd (Video)

Rafael Nadal is currently ranked #1 in men’s singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals. At 32 years old, he’s known as one of the greatest tennis players of all time.

In September 2016, Nadal was playing a doubles match alongside Simon Solbas. They went up against Carlos Moya and John McEnroe in Mallorca, Spain. During the match, the unexpected happened when a mother in the stands became visibly distraught.

Just as Nadal went to serve the ball, he heard some commotion coming from the crowd of 7,000 spectators. A woman stood next to a steward shouting “Clara!” with a sense of panic and urgency.

Nadal and his teammates realized the woman’s daughter had gone missing, and he stopped the game at once.

The following clip, which quickly went viral, shows the star athlete breaking out of his “zone” so a worried mother could find her child.
