Drop kick tackle during UCL qualifiers (Video)

In what has been described as kung fu kick tackle, and with the stakes raised even at this early stage of the campaign, a Champions League qualifier in Hungary on Tuesday night saw one of the dirtiest tackles you will ever see.

Bryan Melisse was shown a red card in the final minute of the Champions League qualifying match between F91 Dudelange and Videoton.

Melisse seems to take out all his frustration at the 2-1 defeat, flying into a kung-fu style tackle against Videoton's Mate Patkai.

The defeat confirmed Dudelange's exit from the tournament, heading out 3-2 on aggragate.

The long ball from the Videoton goalkeeper was challenged by both Melisse and Patkai, but Melisse followed through with a cruching double footed kick to Patkai's stomach.

Unsuprisingly, the referee showed the player a straight red.

His teammates still protested the decision, but Melisse made his way off, not before shoving another of the opposition players and arguing with some more.
