Fani-Kayode says Buhari responsible for sack of US Sec of State Tillerson
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has suggested that “chronic bad luck” of President Muhammadu Buhari led to the sacking of United States of America’s (USA’s) Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson.
Tillerson was sacked by President Donald Trump on yet to be disclosed reasons less than 24 hours after he visited President Buhari and had a closed door meeting with the Nigerian leader at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.
But reacting in a tweet on his Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode argued that it was Buhari’s bad luck that affected him.
Congratulating George Pompeio, who was appointed to replace Tillerson, Fani-Kayode said that his advice to the new US Secretary of State is that he should “steer clear of Buhari”.
He wrote, “If it is not that Buhari has chronic bad luck how it is that within 12 hours of seeing him in Abuja, Rex Tillerson, the American Sec. of State, was removed from office by @realDonaldTrump and replaced with George Pompeio of the CIA? Congrats George! My advice? Steer clear of Buhari!
In another tweet posted along pictures of school children allegedly butchered in Benue by suspected Fulani herdsmen, the former minister taunted Nigerians for voting for Buhari despite warnings.
He said, “We warned you but you would not listen. This is where Buhari has taken Nigeria. He can’t even protect the children. This is an evil and insensitive government that thrives on genocide, mass murder, ethnic cleansing and conflict and that feeds on human blood. We must get them out!”
On the fresh attack by herdsmen in Plateau he wrote, “Fulani terrorists killed 25 more people in Plateau State today (Tuesday) just a few days after Buhari was there. The same thing happened the day after he went to Taraba. The same thing happened as he was leaving Benue State yesterday.
“Why does blood follow Buhari everywhere he goes?”
Also in response to Buhari’s media aide, Femi Adesina’s claim that “Under President Goodluck Jonathan 230 girls were abducted from Chibok” and that “under President Buhari only 110 girls were abducted from Dapchi,” Fani-Kayode said:
“I repeat: it is clear that, like VP Yemi Osinbajo, Femi Adesina has lost his mind. Villa curse at work!
