This is how you know you're making the most out of your life

Think about tombstones and what we see on nearly every one: the date of birth, the date of death, and that dash that connects the two. What happens in that dash can make all the difference in the world.

Some people can have a dash that lasts 100 years, and they’ll end up wasting nearly all of it. Others might have a short one that’s no longer than 20 years, but they’ll fulfill several lifetimes’ worth of destiny in it.

Are you making daily efforts that push you toward your destiny? Or are you failing to live up to God’s expectations and purpose for your life?

If you:
• Read books that help you master your gift
• Connect with your loved ones instead of spending all day looking at your phone
• Complete important projects for work, school, or personal fulfillment
• Look for ways to utilize your gift

Then you’re making a difference.

Not everything you do has to be huge. Even the smallest actions add up over time, and before you know it, you’ve earned that degree or written that book. You’ve achieved your dream, just by taking steps every day to move you further toward it.

Every day that you wake up is another opportunity to make your dash count. Not just for yourself but potentially for the world. The dash that will one day sit on your tombstone could be full of meaning or full of unfulfilled purpose.

By making the most of each day, you’re making a difference in that dash.
