THE NIGERIAN WOMAN WHO BIRTHED A PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, A MINISTER, A GOVERNOR AND WIVES OF GOVERNORS

Haija Dada Yar'Adua (Pictured left above) was married to Musa Yar'Adua, a former Minister.

Her son, Shehu Musa Yar'Adua was Vice President from 1979 - 1981.

Another son of hers, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, was Governor of Katsina State for 8 years (1999 - 2007), and later ruled as President of Nigeria for 2 years (2007 -2009) where he died.

Her grandson, Alhaji Murtala Shehu Yar'Adua was a minister between 2009 - 2011.

Three of her granddaughters were wives of Governors of three different states.

She was truly blessed. Wasn't she?
